It can bear both radial and axial loads. Angular contact ball bearing can work at higher rotational speeds. The larger the contact angle, the higher the axial load capacity it can carry. High precision and high-speed bearings typically have a contact angle of 15 degrees. Under the action of axial force, the contact angle will increase.
Angular contact ball bearings include 7000C type (⏵=15 °), 7000AC type (⏵=25 °), and 7000B type (⏵=40 °).
The precision classes of angular contact ball bearings include dimensional tolerances and rotational precision. The precision from low to high is represented as P0 (normal), P6 (P6X), P5, P4, and P2.
Product Characteristics
1. Universal matched bearings
Universal matching bearings are specially processed. When bearings are installed close to each other, any combination can achieve a predetermined internal clearance or preload, as well as the average load distribution, but without the use of shims or similar devices.
Paired bearings are used when the load carrying capacity of a single bearing is insufficient (using a crossover configuration) or when it is required to bear combined loads or axial loads acting in both directions (using a back to back or face to face configuration).
2. Bearings of basic design (cannot be used as a universal assembly), for single bearing configuration
The basic design of single row angular contact ball bearings is mainly used in configurations with only one bearing per position. Its width and protrusion are common level tolerances. Therefore, it is not suitable to install two single row angular contact ball bearings close together.
Main application
Single row angular contact ball bearings: machine tool spindles, high-frequency motors, gas turbines, centrifugal separators, small car front wheels, differential pinion shafts
Double row angular contact ball bearings: oil pumps, roots blowers, air compressors, various transmissions, fuel injection pumps, printing machinery
